In a Stealth video game, the character controlled by the player must fulfill the missions objectives without being spotted by enemy units.
Generally, in this video game type, it is necessary for the player to progress carefully in order to not trigger an alarm, get detected by enemies and eliminated.

	Metal Gear Solid 1 and Metal Gear Solid 2 Metal Gear Solid 1 and Metal Gear Solid 2 : Substance are amongs the great classic stealth game on pc. Theses two games feature a great atmosphere, story and music. Games from the Metal Gear Serie have been ported on many computer systems and game consoles such as the Playstation, PS2 or PS3.
	Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory are popular stealth games on pc which feature good gameplay, a good graphical quality as well as an interesting story created by the famous author Tom Clancy.. Others opus of the Splinter Cell series aren't classical pc games.
	Dark Project 1 et Dark Project 2 (Thief) Dark Project 1 and Dark Project 2 : The Metal Age are famous pc stealth games but the third episode of the serie : Dark Project : Deadly Shadows isn't a classic because of some issues like too small maps.
	Hitman 1, Hitman 2 and Hitman Blood Money The games Hitman Codename 47, Hitman 2 : Silent Assassin and Hitman Blood Money are classic pc games. In the Hitman serie, the objectives are to infiltrate a place and to eliminate the targets using different methods (poison, guns, knives, accidents, ...). Hitman's highlights are the main character Code 47, the many possibilities to enter guarded areas and eliminate the targets as well as the excellent music from Jesper Kyd. As a side note, Hitman Absolution isn't a classic pc game and not a very good Hitman because in this episode, the developper's choices have denatured the serie. Well, the game is ok but it isn't a great Hitman and not a classic video game.
	Assassin's Creed 2 Assassin's Creed 2 is a great stealth and assassination game which take place in the medieval period. Same as in the Hitman serie, the goal is to enter guarded places, locate the target and eliminate it. But contrary to Hitman (which enjoy maps big enought), in Assassin's Creed 2, the games take place in open-air cities and the controlled character can uses a lots of movements to climb on the roofs and play the acrobat. As for Assassin's Creed 1 (too repetitives), Assassin's Creed 3 and Assassin's Creed 4, there are good games but which aren't classic pc games.
